On this, the ten year anniversary of September 11, 2001, tears flow freely for the thousands of innocents who lost their lives to those who preach intolerance and violence.  Horrific events such as September 11 have occurred throughout the history of mankind — the sadness of it all is that such tragedies continue.  It is inexcusable that mankind has not taken lessons from the atrocities of the past and sought to prevent  them from occurring in the future through peace and tolerance.  Those who preach intolerance and violence should be silenced by those who preach in a louder voice peace and tolerance.  Absent that, mankind will destroy themselves.
